Crochet 365 ( 1/12 )

Posted by Amanda Dawley on

I chose dish cloths for my first post because they are what I immediately think of when someone says crochet. I'm not sure why, because my mom has been crocheting for as long as I can remember and I don't think we ever had handmade dish cloths in the house.

At our house no one likes doing the dishes. We don't have a dishwasher so we basically draw straws to see who loses. We aren't a picture perfect family who have a spotless house, and we don't always get to the dishes right after dinner.

Having Crochet dish cloths makes this daunting task just a little bit easier. With a 100% cotton cloth for easier to clean dishes ( glasses, silverware, plates ) and a synthetic fiber scrubber cloth for the harder to clean dishes ( pots and pans ) We are done in no time.

Crochet dish cloths have been around for what seems like forever. Usually made with 100% Cotton they are durable and efficient, machine washable and above all reusable. They have more texture than a store bought wash cloth, and seem to last longer.

Interested in trying some? You should be!
